Hi, We're CareBuddies NYC
At CareBuddies NYC, believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world. Our mission is to address the need for more child care support in the healthcare community by connecting parents with pre-med students. In turn, we hope to provide pre-meds with unique opportunities to network with physicians/physicians-in-training.
Who We Are
We are a nonprofit aiming to alleviate some of the childcare burdens on healthcare workers in the NYC system by connecting them with "care buddies," or volunteer pre-med students, to chaperone the children of busy healthcare professionals to and from destinations. We believe the care buddy system will be a cost-effective and time-saving addition to existing childcare services. As we are a new initiative, we are in need of volunteers so please reach out if you're interested in getting involved!
